What is my purpose?

   He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.                                                                   -Mark 16:15

   And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.                                                        -Matthew 24:14

    The Bible is very clear when it speaks of the purpose of the Gospel. Jesus will not come again until every last person has been given a chance to hear the message. When I was asked why I wanted to go on a mission trip, I responded with the fact that God says to go. He doesn't ask us to think long and hard about it, He doesn't ask us to question any dangers, and He certainly doesnt ask us to neglect this precept. God says to just go out into the world and be a witness!

Who am I?

   My name Is Ashley Salyer, and I am a Freshman student at Southern Adventist University. I'm majoring in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Science, and a minor in Psychology. Ever since I was a little kid, I was infatuated with different cultures around the world. I loved learning about the different foods, religious practices, the deep historical traditions, and the history as well. I have a strong passion for Christ, and want to share the happiness I have found, through Jesus, with the rest of the world!
