calling all finalists!

We are calling upon all graduating students to contribute to their Class Gift, which will provide the Class of 2018 Exeter Scholars Award, available to first year students.

Financial hardship can be a barrier that stops many young people from even considering University - a barrier which we can overcome with your support. Money raised will provide an award to a student from a low-income background, helping them to afford costs beyond basic fees and maintenance, such as books, a laptop or travel to undertake field courses or work experience.

Why give?

How wonderful to say you've been part of something which will allow a future student to have an amazing Exeter experience! Now that you are reaching the end of your time at Exeter, why not support someone else at the start of theirs?

The Graduating Class Gift is an opportunity to come together and give back - saying a small thank you to Exeter for a fantastic student experience and transforming the future of another Exeter student, ensuring they can thrive at University when they might not otherwise be able to. You will ensure that future students who need a bit of help can create their own unique Exeter experiences, just like you did.

Believe it or not, only a portion of Exeter's annual budget comes from tuition and government funding. The remaining funds must be generated through the loyal support of alumni, friends, businesses and other supporters.

please give today

The more money we raise, the more students we can help. Please give as much as you can in support of the Class of 2018 Exeter Scholars Award. Every gift makes a difference and all money raised will directly benefit Exeter students.

If every finalist gives £1, we will be able to support three students during their first year at Exeter.

"I never imagined I would have the opportunity to attend a prestigious university like Exeter and in reality I would not have been able to do so without the bursary I receive" (Lucy, current bursary recipient).

rewards

As a way of saying thank you, we have the following rewards to offer:

  • £3: An Exeter car sticker
  • £10: A limited edition Class of 2018 pin badge
  • £20: An Exeter car sticker, a limited edition Class of 2018 pin badge and a limited edition Class of 2018 tote bag

Help us succeed!

To make the Class of 2018 Exeter Scholars Award happen we need as many finalists to contribute to this project as possible - please help spread the word amongst your friends and classmates!
