OUR PROJECT

About us

We are a small rural village church school in Flintshire who have been working very hard to use IT in our lessons. However, budget cuts mean that there is a lot less money to spend on resources but we are still required to reach the same expectations.

What do we want?

Crumble kits and Spheros

Who is this for?

This is for our whole school, to use across a range of subjects and for our coding club which runs during lunchtimes.

Why do we want it?

At the moment the DCF is very two dimensional, but with the help of crumble kits and spheros we can bring coding to life for all ages of pupils in our school. We have a crumble kit for 10 pupils, but this means they have to work in groups of 3 during lesson time and I have to limit coding club to just ten pupils. With more resources the children will be able to work on individual projects and I can offer more spaces in coding club.
