Students will travel to India working with communities on projects that enable them to put their degree studies into practice – The trip will look at current Health Outreach projects, biomarkers of rag picking woman, sewage workers also understand water supply and soil content. The trip will include sample collections and analysis and the findings from the community, where possible changes to improve and sustain the communities.
The money raised will help the leprosy community and help pay towards scientific instrumentation that will enable local universities to perform research and help with the health and wellbeing of the ashram and surrounding communities.
