Make a gift
Your generous gifts are so very important to our students - your support through regular or one-off donations are vital to enriching the life and work of the university and our student community. Students are now faced with higher fees and living costs than ever before. We aim to secure as many scholarships as possible to help alleviate the financial pressures preventing them from starting or finishing their degree. Alumni choose to donate on a regular basis to support these scholarships helping hundreds of students go to university each year.Supporting a Brunel student, either at an undergraduate or postgraduate level, can have a life changing impact. Your sponsorship, whether through donations or opportunities provided, ensures that students across the University have access to our world class educational opportunities.Your generosity helps to provide:
- Scholarships for talented students who may otherwise not be able to attend University
- International experience for students unable to afford the cost from their own resources
- Music awards to help students develop their musical talents alongside their academic studies
- Support for students facing unexpected or emergency circumstances through our Hardship Fund
100% of money raised goes directly towards helping students.
How your gift makes a difference
Gifts to Annual Giving have immediate impact. They are essential in enabling the University to extend financial support to every student who needs it, support excellence in teaching and research, and fund emerging opportunities for learning and discovery. This year, we are thrilled to be fundraising for our new Global Opportunities Fund alongside our existing Brunel Scholarships. The Global Opportunities Fund is Brunel’s answer to the growing challenge facing students in gaining much-needed international experience through internships, placements and summer schools abroad.
Monthly Amount Value over five years with Gift Aid This could fund
£5 £375 A student in an emergency situation
£10 £750 Overseas placement travel costs
£20 £1500 Living costs for an international placement for a lower income student
A gift of any size to the Fund will provide vital help for our students who would not otherwise be able to undertake overseas experiences, and give them access to lives in which they will make contributions in their families, careers, and communities. You can help us give the gift of an education; and not just one in a classroom.
Annual Giving is a tradition that links Brunelians of every generation. If you can, please share in this tradition and pledge your support today!
