At the present moment, we have sent our first payment to our partners in Nairobi, Kenya; once the payment has successfully reached the designated account, the project will commence. Being so close to an official start, I would like to update you on our current position and what will be happening in the near future.

The first week will be introductory; our partners will have teachers introduce our beneficiaries to the project, outlining its aims and timeline. The concept of weaving and the workshops our beneficiaries will attend alongside this will be explained. 

The second week will see the start of the weaving process. Our beneficiaries will start weaving coasters, slippers and bowls whilst also attending workshops on management and leadership. Through the workshops, the beneficiaries will learn and practice team working skills whilst also expanding on their individual task management skills.
