OUR PROJECT

About us

We are a nursery and primary school located in the ex-mining village of Jacksdale which lies on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.

What do we want?

Some iPads!

Who is this for?

This is for our whole school, to use across a range of subjects.

Why do we want it?

Technology is at the heart of future careers. Two thirds of our children who started school in 2017 will do jobs not yet invented. We would like our children to use technology to help prepare them for the future.

Our children use iPads to creatively show and demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of what they have learnt in topics across the curriculum.

We we also use iPads to support individual children who need extra support in English, Maths and other areas of the curriculum. These children use the iPads to complete intervention programmes allowing the children to make as much progress as possible.

At the moment we do not have enough of them for every class to use them everyday. A class set would make a huge difference.

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

Total = £1404.95 (incl VAT* & delivery)

STRETCH TARGET

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy more iPads to create a complete class set
