A short summary of your project

I'm raising money for our University of Leicester Netball Club Alumni Ball in May, which will be the very first of its kind in ULNC history. This event is so important to us as it aims to bring together all of our current and past members, all of whom are extremely important to the club and its legacy at the University. This is an amazing opportunity for us all to come together once more, and for some current and former members to meet for the very first time! As University and life afterwards is so busy in lots of different ways, it can be hard for members to meet up in this way without an event such as this.

Who are you?

We are currently one of the biggest sports clubs on campus, and are one big family. We cherish all of the events we can hold as each event means making more memories that we can take with us when we leave University. Netball has been such a large part of each and every one of our uni experiences.

Where will the money go?

The money will go toward subsidising the costs of the Alumni Ball, such as the room hire, DJ and tickets. We are looking for this money in donations to subsidise ticket costs as we believe that money should never be a barrier to any of our members who wish to come to events like this; your contributions would mean that everyone who loves netball and ULNC, regardless of background and financial situation, would be able to afford to come.

Rewards to people who donate to our fundraiser include:

Your name on leaflets at the Alumni Ball thanking you for helping us to ensure the event took place with your donations.

A club picture of those who attend on the night, with a personalised message from ULNC thanking you for your donation.
