About us

At The Arches we are passionate about preparing children for the best future they can have in a nurturing environment. We are developing a strong STEM/STEAM approach to learning, ensuring that every child achieves their full potential. Our children LOVE their computing lessons and would thrive on extending their physical computing beyond unplugged activities, across the whole curriculum.

What do we want?

Crumble kits teach children coding through exciting and engaging physical computing. We would like a class set of starter kits to be used throughout school to enhance our computing provision and fill the gaps in our physical computing.

Who is this for?

These kits will be used across Key Stages 1 and 2 (ages 5-11) to enhance computing provision and in our after school Code Club. They will also cover curriculum areas of Science, Design & Technology, Art and Maths and enhance our developing STEM/STEAM approach to learning.

Why do we want it?

Our current provision for physical computing is limited to unplugged activities. Having a class set (36) of Crumble starter kits would enable the children to learn a range of skills and explore their own limitless creativity in areas of Computing, Art, Science, D&T and Maths.

36 x Crumble Starter Kits @ £21.36 each

Total = £768.96 (incl VAT & delivery)

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy Crumble Robotic Vehicle at £42.
