Our School
We are a 11-16 mainstream academy that is driving up standards in a disadvantaged area of Stoke-on-Trent. Our academy motto is "hard work, effort and practice" which is the epitome of every lesson throughout every day. We have had a hard journey through school improvement to ensure we do the very best for our students and we are one of the most improved academies in the city.
What do we want?
We would ideally like to purchase 2 Apple iPads to enhance the quality of performance analysis in physical education lessons.
Who is this for?
The iPads would be used by the students individually, in small groups or as whole classes under the guidance and supervision of staff.
Why do we want it?
Having the ability to use the iPads to support the analysis of performance across a wide range of sports and exercise activities which helps to provide more insightful feedback for improvement of skills and the whole performance enabling our students to aspire to be better through hard work, effort and practice.
The use of the slow-motion video recording will help to breakdown skills in a totally new and easy way and encourage students to consider the quality of feedback they are providing to the performer, therefore inspiring the future generation of leaders and coaches within the sporting world.
2 x Apple iPad 32GB Space Grey @ £284.40
Grand Total = £568.80
Students love physical education in our academy and even though our classrooms buzz with excitement, we want to give the students the power to make their own potential through their own independence.
