We are a small village school in Llandyrnog, Denbighshire. We have an infant and junior class and our pupil numbers are usually around 30.
What do you want?
We want to buy 4 or more iPads.
Who is this for?
This is for our whole school, to use across a range of subjects. In particular we would like to share work with parents using SeeSaw and also to communicate with other schools around the world by filming and editing short videos on iMovie which we can then share on our YouTube channel.
Why do you want it?
As a small school our budget is limited, and whilst pupils have opportunities to develop their digital skills, they would benefit greatly form being able to use up-to-date devices across all of their subjects. Our pupils have expressed an interest in being able to compose songs through GarageBand and to even learn how to create their own apps. New iPads would help us to do this!
4 x iPad 9.7 inch @ £301.80 each
Subtotal: £1,213.20 (inc £6.00 delivery)
Credit card fees (2%): £24.26
Total: £1,237.46
Small rural schools like us depend on donations and grants to support our budgets throughout the year. If we only raise enough money to buy one iPad from this then it will still make a positive difference to the children in the school.
Select this reward if you just want to donate to the project without receiving a reward.
