Ysgol Bryn Deva is a large Primary School located in Connah's Quay, North Wales. Our children work hard every day and the behaviour in our school is outstanding. Unfortunately, due to increased funding cuts, resources are already being stretched, so we have been looking at novel ways of funding those areas that sometimes get left behind.

What do we want?

We would like to buy a set of 3 iPads including protective cases, so that more of our children can access the Internet for important research and access educational apps that will enhance learning.

Who is this for?

The iPads will be used within Foundation Phase classes.

Why do we want it?

The effective use of technology in the classroom allows pupils to visualise their learning more clearly and allow them to interact with subject matter in a totally new way. The use of iPads will enable our children to access resources which will make the topics they are studying much more exciting and interactive. Digital competency is very much a part of the modern world and our pupils need to prepared for future.
