My name is Cameron Hodges and I am a sophomore at Southern Adventist University. Next school year I have decided to dedicate a year of my life to serve as an English teacher for grades preschool-sixth in Honduras. I will also be helping at a local orphanage that is run by REACH International. When I first went to Honduras, I immediately felt a calling. After three years and four visits, it is finally happening.
Approximately 60 other Southern students and I will have the honor of serving in different places throughout the world as teachers, nurses, deans, Bible workers, and in many other positions. As a group, we are helping to raise funds to support the Student Missions program so that we can share the love and word of God with others.
I have agreed to raise $3,200 for Southern's Student Missions program . The funds we raise will help cover our airfare, visas, insurance training, and care packages. I am excited to serve as a student missionary. Will you help me reach my goal? Whatever you are able to give is greatly appreciate by the 2017-18 student missionaries, the people we will serve, and also myself.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
