Who are we?

Churchill College Boat Club (CCBC) was established in 1961 to allow students of the College to get the chance to learn to row and compete against the other Cambridge Colleges. 48 years later and the club is still going strong with over 60 members and boats catering for all abilities.

Our story

Despite CCBC's Women's First Boat (W1) sitting 11th in the Lent Bumps and 9th in the Mays, their blades have become damaged and their progression has been hampered. In order to give our W1 team the best possible chance of building on their success and cementing their top 10 status we urgently need to raise funds to purchase a new set of blades to help them power to victory in future campaigns!

Blades for victory appeal

We are trying to raise £3,000 to purchase new blades for our W1 team to ensure they are properly equipped to push up to the next level.

Where will the money go?

The £3,000 we are hoping to raise will cover the cost of a new set of blades. Any additional sum donated as part of this campaign will go towards urgent repair costs for one of the Men's boats; the Canon Duckworth.
