Our school is a bilingual school in North Wales. Our school is in the Ceiriog Valley, we offer Welsh and English medium education. We have 105 pupils in total.

What do we want?

We would like to buy 5 new iPads for our Foundation Phase classes.

Who is this for?

We need new iPads to help develop the pupils education. Within Wales there is a big focus on digital learning at the moment. By being able to buy 5 new iPads the pupils would have more opportunities to do this. Our school believes in developing learners to become independent and confident and the use of iPads within the classroom would help our pupils to achieve this.

Why do you want it?

By enabling us to buy the iPads our pupils will have more opportunities to develop their digital skills. With such an emphasis on digital learning at the moment, it's important that our pupils are taught the skills they need to be able to adapt to different situations with the use of technology. With the use of digital equipment becoming more prominent it is also important for our pupils to understand how to use technology and the internet safely and to reach its full potential. Our hope, by buying the iPads is to give the pupils the opportunities to develop these skills.
