Number of students that will benefit: hopefully all 243!
Age of students: 3-11
Eligible for free school meals: 23.8%
We are a Primary and Nursery School set in the Ladybrook estate in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. We have a high percentage of children eligible for free school meals. Our children are all enthusiastic to learn and well behaved. We currently have very old technology - most of it has had to be thrown out because it is unusable. We are hoping to start updating our technology to help us improve our children's outcomes and develop their skills across the curriculum.
We would love to have a set of ten Visualisers. These visualisers would be used in every classroom, our hall and our intervention room and would be used for all subjects. Visualisers would enable us to show off exceptional work in lessons and elsewhere quickly and easily. They would also enable us to model experiments and other practical skills more clearly to a whole room of children, as our actions would be projected onto a whiteboards and therefore much larger to see! The use of visualisers in our classrooms would emphasise our high expectations, enable children to share ideas and learn from their peers, and allow them to share and take pride in their achievements.
