Language immersion programme in Italy

Who Am I?

Hi, my name is Antonio and I am a first year BA Modern languages student. Italian is one of  my favourite Romance languages and as a language lover i would like to have this amazing opportunity to go to Italy in the summer to both practise and improve what i have learned from my Italian teachers here at the university of Essex.

What project am i crowdfunding for?

My goal is to raise £2000 to be able to go on this Italian course in Italy. This will help support my degree of Modern Languages. My dream is to become a modern language teacher here in the UK, so not only will the project help me in the short term of my degree, but in the long term for my career prospects. To know a language is to live amongst it - and doing this summer course will stand me in good stead for my career as well as to know the language and Italian culture.

Cost Breakdown:

Minimum Target: £1000

£550 Accommodation

£200 Flights + airport transfer

£250 Living Expenses

Stretch Goal: £1200

Anything over my minimum will go towards study tools and extra living expenses in case of emergencies.
