We're raising £1000 to put on the Theatre Arts Society's latest pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, which will bring audiences together to be blown away by the all-singing all-dancing production!
We are the production team behind Jack and the Beanstalk - the people who make it happen.
Production Manager: Bonnie Murphy
Directors: Ciaran Forde and Francis Garland
Musical Director: Francis Garland
Choreographers: Megan Sharman and Francesca Gray
Stage Manager: Bonnie Murphy
Financial Officer: Adeola Oshoba
Together we've been working for months to get the show ready to go on stage at the start of December, and we can't wait for you to see the product of all our hard work.
We're aiming to beat the success of last year's pantomime, The Snow Queen, which was the biggest and most popular TAS pantomime we've ever had.
This means it's our goal to make Jack and the Beanstalk even bigger!
Our pantomimes feature big sets, big costumes, big dance numbers, and most importantly - big characters. Every year we pull together audiences from the University, Wivenhoe, Colchester and beyond to enjoy the hilarious and entertaining 16+ show.
By donating to this show, you are guaranteeing that we can go further than ever before in creating an amazing show that will bring everyone together as a community.
Every penny that you donate will go directly into the show. From hiring out radio microphones so that our wonderful singers can be heard, to printing flyer after flyer so we can entertain as many people as possible, all of the money goes straight into our production. This means that what you see is quite literally what you get - everything you see on the stage (excluding our wonderful actors) will be there because of the money we raise.
We will constantly be updating with the progress of rehearsals and showing exactly what you're funding.
We're putting together some brilliant rewards for everyone who donates - check us out!

If you can't donate - don't worry! Word of mouth works just as well. Tell everyone you know that we're putting on an amazing show and you'll be helping just as much - and don't forget to come see the show after all our hard work!
However if you do have a spare penny for us, we'll love you forever. And who knows, maybe there'll be a future panto villain named just for you?
Thank you!
