The goal of $3,400 will allow me to go to SDA Matandani Mission School in Malawi Africa for 10 months. I am going there to be a part of their secondary education staff as a Bible teacher and Chaplain. I am a double major in Public Relations and Business Management at Southern Adventist University. I almost decided to go down the career path of being a Bible teacher and I am super excited to have the opportunity to go and do that for a (school) year in Africa!

Every year more than 60 student missionaries are sent out from Southern. As a group, we are collectively raising the funds to cover many of our needs including airfare, visas, insurance, training, and care packages. I have personally agreed to be responsible for raising $3,400 towards those needs. I can't do it alone however, anything you are willing or able to give towards the 2018-19 missionaries is greatly appreciated by not just myself but my fellow missionaries and those we plan to serve.

Missions is such an important part of being a Christian and I am looking forward to being able to do that across the world! I will be posting photos and hopefully videos on my FaceBook (John Boone) and Instagram (jt_boone) account so please follow me to keep tabs on my trip! Pass this along to anyone that you know that would be interested in missions!
