Having studied at The University of Reading for my degree in Microbiology I was keen to carry on learning particularly within genetics, reproduction and human development. I have struggled to fund my first degree and I have £32,000 worth of student loan debt. After originally having the offer for my masters at The University of Bristol for last year's entry, I deferred to this September 2016 to save more money to afford the fees. I am determined to further my education and maybe eventually carry on to a PhD within this field. The University of Bristol is one of the best universities in the world to study my MSc Reproduction and Development and I would be devastated to miss this fantastic opportunity.
During University I worked 16-30 hours a week, as well as my full-time degree course to fund my living costs and I am going to continue to work during my masters degree.
If I manage to hit my target, the £3600 will go towards the University tuition fees (half of the £7200).
If I'm lucky to exceed the target, the extra money will help towards travel, accommodation and books.
I will endeavour to provide weekly updates of my progress when running the campaign.
We have some fab rewards to thank everyone who donates, whatever the amount you might give. Check them out..
