Lordswood Girls' School are hoping to raise £5,000 to buy new stage curtains and microphones to help develop and enhance our school concerts, productions and assemblies. The new equipment would mean a much better quality to school events and occasions. Our current stage curtains are extremely old and damaged, which really affects students' morale and enthusiasm.

Funding this project will make a HUGE difference to LGS. New equipment would boost students morale significantly. The funding would also help provide smoother, slicker and more polished performances, this in turn would make school productions more professional.

We need better equipment to enhance students' hard work and enable them to be the best that they can be! An example of this is when the girls need to provide performances for examination pieces, a professional approach to the staging area massively enhances the overall performance. Help us to re-establish our students enthusiasm and love of performing!

Due to current financial constraints, we do not have the funds to buy or replace the required equipment, so we are relying on your help, support and generosity.

As a integral part of the local community, the funds raised will not only benefit our school, but local community groups, too. If we manage to raise the target amount, this will also help local performing arts schools, church groups and choirs that hire our school hall in evenings and at weekends.
