My Project

North Heath Primary School is based in Horsham, with over 400 pupils aged 4 – 11 years. We believe that working together with parents and the community achieves success for our pupils!

What do you want?

We want to buy BBC micro:bits, Robot Mice and Fisher Price Code-a-pillars!

Who is it for?

This is for all of our pupils, who have embarked on a journey to develop coding skills.

Why do you want it?

We would like to give our children the opportunity to become digital makers and future inventors & innovators, in order to adapt to a developing & exciting world of technology.

The BBC micro:bit is a mini computer that junior children can use to code and make all sorts of amazing things.

The Fisher Price Code-a-pillar inspires little learners to be big thinkers by encouraging them to arrange the segments in endless combinations, sending Code-a-pillar on his path. This learning toy encourages experimentation while developing important skills like problem solving, planning & sequencing and critical thinking.

STEM - Robot Mouse is a colourful early coding set that would enable our infant pupils to get hands-on with STEM learning and programming concepts with Jack the robot mouse.

Equipment we need:

16 x Micro:Bot Pack Mini Drone @ £39.99 each = £639.84

4 x Fisher-Price DKT39 Think and Learn Code-a-Pillar @ £49.97 each = £199.88

6 x Learning Resources STEM - Robot Mouse @ £24.99 each = £149.94

Total = £989.66

Credit card fees (2%) = £19.79

Grand total: £1,009.45
