Monster Anthology: So What's it all about?

We are raising money to fund the production of a new creative writing anthology. Entitled 'Monster', the anthology will include fiction, poetry and even scripts from some of Nottingham's newest writers. Our work explores the monster in every sense, from psychological torments, to political beasts, to fantastical creatures.

Who we are

The majority of writers included in Monster are students on the MA Creative Writing at Nottingham Trent University. With one of the UK's most established postgraduate creative writing courses, NTU has provided us with the exciting opportunity to write and produce our own anthology.

Novelist and short story writer Megan Taylor will be featuring as a guest writer in Monster, as will Jonathan Taylor, a novelist, poet, short story writer and editor. Additional guest writers will be announced in the coming weeks...

We're passionate about our craft, and would love you to join us on this venture!

Why we need your help

As you can imagine, producing, publishing, and promoting a book does not come cheap.

Our minimum target of £150 will cover the printing costs of a small number of copies. Hitting our full target of £300 will enable us to print our desired copies.

If we are able to raise more than our target, the additional funds will go directly into printing more copies, and hopefully allow us to expand our promotion of the book.

We are so grateful for any support you can give our project and donations towards printing costs. We'll give back a gift to those who make a pledge!

it's not all about the money

We also need help promoting our product and campaign, so please share our project with your friends, family, colleagues and fellow writers.

There's plenty of ways to spread the word: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, email, telephone, carrier pigeon, megaphone...

Every bit of support will be much appreciated!
