Aberdeen
We are raising money to enable the launch and promotion of our brand-new mental wellbeing service. Any donations will help us grow and provide a much needed mental health service available to all university students.
We are RGU Peer Support – a student led peer to peer support group.
RGU Peer Support is a mental wellbeing service we plan to launch imminently. We will be providing one to one appointments with our trained volunteers for any RGU student who needs some support with their mental health and general wellbeing, providing them with a safe and confidential space to discuss their problems without fear of judgement.
Any money raised will go towards improving Mental Health around the university. This will be done through workshops with RGU Sport, guest speakers, facilitated workshops, events and further training for our peer supporters. Already we have some peer supporters that have completed an NHS accredited course in Scottish Mental Health First Aid.
