A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Pheobe Maciel and I am a junior English education major at Southern Adventist University. Next year, I have been given the opportunity to serve as a student missionary in Santo Domingo, Ecuador. I will be teaching English at Colegio Adventista de Ecuador.

All Southern Adventist University student missionaries are expected to help raise funds to support the Student Missions program. Your support will help me and other student missionaries serve around the world. Would you please consider supporting the Student Mission program at Southern and helping me reach my goal of $3,500?

Why Serve?

I have felt a calling to serve as a student missionary since high school, but that calling has grown as I have gone through college. I am excited to use the next year to learn how to better serve and follow God better and to bless others.

Even if you are not able to help me financially, you can still help. Please tell others about my fundraising project. More than anything, please pray for me as I prepare for the upcoming year, and please continue praying throughout the year as I serve. Thank you so much for your prayers and for any financial help you are able to give!
