About us
We are a one form entry school in an urban setting. Our school is in the west end of Newcastle. We enjoy science and computing but need some help getting equipment to support our learning in these subjects.
What do we want?
A set of 5 data loggers, plus storage and accessories
Who is this for?
This is for our whole school to use in science and computing lessons.
Why do we want it?
Currently when we want to record measurements we rely on imprecise methods like using stopwatches and thermometers (of the non-digital variety). Measuring sound is particularly tricky when using free apps from the internet. We would love to have a more accurate, precise and scientific way to make these recordings. A set of 5 data loggers, plus storage and accessories would really help us to develop our science and computing curriculum. Children can feel more like real scientists and we will be able to manipulate the data better using the software which accompanies the data loggers. It's much needed at our school and will help bring our work up to twenty-first century standards!

Total = £1,362 (incl VAT, free delivery)
If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy additional data loggers priced at £157.50 each (incl VAT and delivery of £7.50) http://data-harvest.co.uk/catalogue/science/primary/datalogging/primary-vu-data-logger/2305PK
Please help us to reach our target. We don't have any data loggers in school at all - not even really old ones! We need your help to change this! Please share with as many people as possible. We will be very grateful for any and all donations. Thank you.
