The project

Hi! We are final year students studying BA Hons Digital Film and we are raising funds to help shoot our grad film "Stolen From Our Very Eyes". This is the last project to come from our University experience and we want to make the most of it as we can! This film will be an great example of our talents as filmmakers to showcase what we've learnt after 3 years of studying and a perfect showreel to show to future employers.

The film itself is a short story on the theme of grief. It is set around a young girl who struggles with the grief of losing her grandmother. The loss of a loved one has left an impact on myself as well the people working on this film and therefore is why we are exploring that emotion in this short.

Above is a picture from the day we went location scouting.. pretty right?

Who we are

          Robyn Welsh

"I am working on this project as Producer, cinematographer and director. This story came about as a little film in my head and it is the first time I am taking on this many roles so I am very excited - and nervous -  to make it."

Creating this film will be challenging but not without the help of Caitlin Sloggett who is producing this alongside me and is also the editor.

Caitlin Sloggett

"I am very passionate about editing and the aesthetics of this film are really exciting so I can't wait to work on it!"

Where will the money go?

Shooting in some beautiful locations in and around Brighton requires a bit of help.

Travel expenses for cast and crew (train/bus/car) - £170

Booking of location (the one in the thumbnail!)- £50

Costumes and props - £50

Catering expenses - £30

Reaching the goal funds for this will help the shoot go smoothly (and make sure we are all well-fed). A little can go a long way! There are also some nice rewards for those who can donate!

If you are unable to donate, you can still help out by sharing the project with your family and friends! The more people who know about this project - the better!

Thankyou!!!! :)
