About us
St. Peter's is a Church of England Aided School in Exeter, Devon.
At St. Peter's we aspire for everyone to life to the full, developing character and bringing HOPE through wisdom, courage, compassion and community.
Who is this for?
All students at St. Peter's will be able to benefit from your support.
Student members of our science and STEM clubs will be able to use the chromebooks for all of their project work. We have a growing number of students participating and hope for your help to provide the extra resources needed for them to realise their aspirations.
This year we've worked on the BP ultimate STEM challenge, the Shell bright ideas challenge, the Go4SET challenge organised by the Engineering Development Trust and also entered a team in the Big bang competition to name just a few. Our students are really keen to do even more projects next year.
If successful with our pitch we also plan to make the chromebooks available for all science classes across all year groups to support with classroom learning and promotion of STEM subjects, further education and future careers opportunities.
Why do we want it?
Our very old science department laptops are sadly in a sorry state. After many years of use they have keys missing and can take nearly 15 minutes to load when first switched on. Our students are so patient with them but are longing for new technology to enable them to get on with their work and manage time efficiently. The chromebooks would be ideal solution as they are super quick to load and will work brilliantly alongside Google Classroom.
Total = £1,399.93 (incl VAT & delivery)
If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would like to buy extra chromebooks to help to support students all across the school with their learning.
