It's been a good first week for us, covering more than 50% of the way towards our minimum and well on the way towards our lofty target. Special thanks to all those awesome people who are going together with us.

So, let us talk a bit about what we'll have at our summer fair, shall we?

First of, we have a definitive date! Write it down on your calendars, folks: we pick up on the late afternoon on Friday the 5th of June and wind down around noon on Monday the 8th of June.

For now on, we also have a few definitive seminars we'd like to share with you:

Textiles and Fabrics through Time
Evolving the Blade - the Oakeshott typology of swords
Unveiling the Manual - the German Fechtbüche tradition

As time marches on, expect this list to soar!

We have also discussed at length the family fun revelries for our tournament. Expect lots of music, piggyback jousting, shield painting and the all-time favourite kiddy bike.
