Your gift makes it possible for students in the IS department to take advantage of the opportunities that make our department a source of pride for the university. You can:

  • Provide financial support for students to continue their studies at UMBC or to take part in International Field Research programs
  • Support travel stipends to allow Ph.D. students to present their work at conferences
  • Ensure ongoing academic assistance for undergraduates at the department's tutoring center
