Mechanical Engineering at UMBC is as vibrant and innovative as always, but we need your help to keep the department thriving.

Your gift will:

  • Prepare our students for the global workplace of the 21st century through virtual and study abroad opportunities.
  • Provide funding for prototyping spaces and fabrication facilities, where students can do everything from brainstorming to building and testing mechanical systems.
  • Provide funding to develop a newsletter celebrating alumni accomplishments and the growth of the department for our 25th anniversary in 2018.
