USD Women in Philanthropy

The mission of the USD Women in Philanthropy initiative is to inspire and encourage women to become philanthropists at the University of South Dakota and in their communities. The goal is to align the passions and generosity of women who are enthusiastically interested in providing support for priorities of USD. Additionally, the program looks to provide female leaders with opportunities for volunteer roles that educate, inspire and encourage a deeper commitment to the university. Investment opportunities will align with the mission of the program, as well as positively and significantly impact university priorities.

What Does USD Women in Philanthropy Support This Year?

This year, a women’s basketball program called Elevate has been named as the first beneficiary of the inaugural USD Women in Philanthropy effort. Elevate provides women’s basketball players with development opportunities for personal growth, accountability, perspective, and leadership off the court. As a former student athlete, I've seen the impact firsthand that Elevate offers in shaping young women into future leaders and members of their communities.
